Hospitality Tomorrow: Virtual Conference
“Our industry is on its knees and we are struggling, as I know you are. Our hearts are with those who have lost their jobs and are concerned about their future.”
This was the heart-breaking start to a message sent to the hospitality industry last week from our client Bench Events who has worked tirelessly over the last 25 years to bring the hospitality industry together to network and to showcase best practice and thought leadership.
We’ve had the honour of working with the team since 2017, managing the PR and communications for the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC), the Saudi Hospitality Investment Conference (SHIC), as well as the Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF) when it was held in Dubai.
This week should have been the final countdown to AHIC 2020, when we’d normally be deep in pre-event planning, coordinating media access and interviews in preparation for AHIC’s return to its Dubai home at the Madinat Jumeirah after two fantastic years in Ras al Khaimah. Instead we’re faced with a very different set of circumstances. Even the most ardent advocates for crisis planning couldn’t have prepared for these unprecedented times and the sector that stands to suffer the most is travel and hospitality.
That’s why we’re so proud to see the team at Bench Events stepping up to support the industry in a meaningful way with the launch of their first virtual conference, Hospitality Tomorrow. We applaud their quick response and unswerving commitment to supporting the industry and can’t think of an organisation better placed to bring global hospitality leaders together to discuss what the industry can do collectively to rebuild confidence.
Sign up to join the virtual conference and conversation around the unprecedented economic circumstances caused by the COVID-19 outbreak and what the industry can do collectively to rebuild confidence.
